As a startup founder, can you grow your startup without also promoting yourself (your personal brand) online?
Personal branding is all the rage now, with the rise of social media.
You see founders on social media with their personal accounts and, separately, their startup brand accounts.
It’s probably more difficult to grow your startup without also promoting your personal brand online.
An obvious benefit to promoting your personal brand online is that, if and when you exit your startup, you have then built up some following as an influencer.
But not all founders like to promote themselves online. Some may prefer not to post photos or videos about themselves to the world.
